SAVORY FRENCH TOAST SANDWICH

Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices Shokupan (sandwich bread)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tbs whole milk
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese
  • 2 slices ham
  • 1 tsp white miso
  • 1 tbs heavy cream (or milk)
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil

Instructions
 

  • Beat egg and season with salt and pepper. Thin it out with whole milk.
  • Heat a large pan on medium. Grease the surface with vegetable oil.
    Pour in the half of egg mixture, swirl aroung the pan, and run the egg all over the surface.
  • When the egg still under cooked, place the bread. Pour over the rest of the egg mixture, and cover. Place the ham and cheese on top.
  • Fold the egg to the center, then, fold in half.
    Cover with the lid, reduce the heat to low, cook 3 mins.
  • Flip it over and cook 2 mins more.
  • Mix miso and heavy cream. Serve with the savory french toast.
