Ebi no Umani (Savory Shrimp)

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large shrimp (throughtly washed)
  • 3 slices ginger
  • ½ tbs sugar
  • ¼ cup Sake
  • 1 tbs Mirin
  • 1 tbs Soy sauce

Equipment

  • 1 frying pan

Method
 

  1. Bring Seasonings to a boil in a small frying pan.
  2. Add Shrimp in to the frying pan. Cover, cook 3 mins.
  3. Flip, cover, cook another 3 mins.
  4. Stop cooking, cover, cool to room temperature.
  5. Transfer to an airtight container. Store well 4 to 5 days in the fridge.
