Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp ketchup
Taco Meat
  • 300g (10oz) ground beef or half beef and half pork
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
Rice/shredded lettuce/ diced tomato/ minced onion/shredded cheese

Equipment

  • 1 frying pan

Method
 

Taco Meat
  1. Cook ground beef and pork until it becomes crumbly.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook until it’s fragrant.
  3. Then, add a tablespoon of taco seasoning mix and stir to combine.
  4. Next, add soy sauce and ketchup, and this is a Japanese part.  Stir until the mixture is well blended, and most of the liquid has evaporated.
Assemble
  1. Begin by placing shredded lettuce around the rice on your plate.
    Top with the seasoned taco meat, adjusting the amount based on your preference.
    Add shredded cheese and diced cherry tomatoes on top for freshness and color.
    Finally, sprinkle some chopped onion if you like a bit of crunch and kick.
