BACON AND EDAMAME SAVORY PANCAKE.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup +1 tbs whole milk
  • ¼ cup edamame
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese
  • ¼ cup diced bacon
  • 1 tbs vegetable oil
Miso Cream sauce
  • 1 tsp white miso
  • 1 tbs heavy cream

Method
 

  1. Cook diced bacon in a pan, until fat coming out and start browning.
  2. Meanwhile, shift dry ingredients. Make a well in a center, crack egg and add half milk. Whisk until the egg and milk well combined. Add the rest of the milk and mix to just combine.
  3. Add Edamame, cheese and cooked bacon to the panbake batter.
  4. Heat the pan on medium-low, ladle the batter. Cover the lid and cook until bubble coming up in the center. Flip over and cook 2 more mins.
  5. In another pan, cook sunny side up to your liking.
  6. Serve the pancake with sunny side up and miso cream.
