I like watermelon but I don’t want the seeds.
You can get a seedless watermelon at the supermarket, but I prefer regular old-fashioned watermelon because it’s much sweeter.
I like this because the fever is sweeter than that no seed varieties, I believe.
How to choose watermelon
When you buy a watermelon at the supermarket, when you take it and it’s heavier than it looks, and when you tap it, you hear a deep sound that’s the one you go for.
In Japan, there are two types of watermelon.
One is regular watermelon. Weigh 5~6 kgs.
Another one is Small Watermelon (小玉スイカ). Weigh around 1kg.
Choose heavy watermelon in any case!
How to cut watermelon without seeds
Wash the outside well and cut off the end, and then cut into two horizontally.
Place the cut side up and cut into two, along with the seeds.
And then cut into wedges along with the seeds, so all the seeds expose to you.
Take that off with the tip of the knife.
